Krauthaus Heesenhof in Rheinberg

We were with 6 people in the Krauthaus breakfast. The table was beautifully set, we liked the china very much - it was like the "good old days". There was bread, rolls, sausage, ham, cheese, scrambled eggs, jam, quark, orange juice, a delicious dessert and to finish off with a glass of sparkling wine. The coffee was served in a large thermos, but we didn't like it - it was very thin: (The service didn't really convince us either. For reasons of sustainability, it is pointed out that there are not masses of food on the table - TOP !, you can order anything at any time. So far so good, but we had to look for the waitress go to express our wishes, this can be improved. All in all we had a nice morning with a delicious breakfast!

Went there with 4 people for breakfast. It was great as always. Very good quality, plenty of everything on the table and friendly staff.

I love to spend time there with the children. Everything is well combined. An overview of a few animals, a cafe and the playground. The cakes are really delicious and the food is okay too

Small, fine menu, high quality food. Children can feed animals with stale bread and vegetables. There is a playground with lots of equipment (proportional to the area). Design inside: as you know it from the beautiful Instagram / Pinterest pictures at home. Outdoor catering also has flair. Everything is good, we'd love to come back.

Friendly staff. Breakfast very much with a second helping if not full. Handicapped friendly. Wheelchair ramp available.

Breakfast served at the reserved table. No possibility e.g. to forego or replace sausage or curd cheese directly. Hygiene requirements were met.

We were really looking forward to the Heesenhof today. Unfortunately we found that the staff was rude and bitchy. It's a shame, for such a nice location for a day trip. The disinfection of the tables should also be reconsidered. A smell of vinegar came over and the rag and spray bottle lay in the sun in a flower box. The food was very good.

Well-kept café with very friendly service. You can also buy game meat in the small farm shop. Animals can be fed in the outdoor enclosures. The children's playground is getting a bit old.

After a normally good experience, we had a very bad experience today. We weren't allowed to bring a birthday cake for our child's birthday breakfast: "You are not allowed to bring your own chips." Another table was apparently allowed, or was smart enough not to ask beforehand. The service only responded to demand and never came up with the idea on its own at 15 euros per person + extra costs. Overall rating: Bad

Very nice, hygienic farm café with delicious granny cake and hearty seasonal delicacies. Always very cozy in a lovingly decorated ambience. Also highly recommended for breakfast !!!

Just super. Great cakes, great breakfast. I like the many animals there. The white rooster that cuddles so funny and makes sounds while breathing after crowing is especially funny. The small children who were here found him great. Great destination.

Also we were here for the first time today and we really liked it. The Schnitzel with fried potatoes and vegetables was really delicious, everything on the menu was well read so we will try something different on the next visit. Also worth mentioning is the Wildmettwurst from own production as well as the delicious cake.

Great, by car, but with pleasure to reach by bike, great selection, breakfast, lunch, dinner, ... the cake tasted very good !!! Very cozy, dignified atmosphere ..... you feel at every time cared for and welcome !!! I like to go there more often !!!
